Ride Day 15: La Paz to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur by Motorbike

La Paz to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

La Paz to Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

After relaxing a few days in La Paz at Leo’s Baja Oasis, Leo (the owner), decided I needed to go to see Cabo San Lucas and do a little duty-free shopping. This town is also a little mecca for some questionable pharmaceutical goods. It is very much a resort town. I wanted to ride my bike and get some footage, and Leo obliged by taking his four wheel drive and taking some photos of me on the bike, pretty cool Leo!

We also stopped off at a few other towns for a quick look including San Pedro, Todos Santos, El Pescadero, Migriño, San José del Cabo and of course Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Mexico

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas is a resort city on the south-western tip of Baja California Peninsula, it is known for its beaches, sea activities, and of course its parties and nightlife. Playa El Médano is Cabo’s main beach, with outdoor restaurants and numerous bars. Past the marina is Land’s End promontory, site of Playa del Amor (Lover’s Beach) and El Arco, a natural archway in the seacliffs. It bit of a very touristy location, which is not my cup of tea, but we wandered around, had some lunch, a few beers, and a quick stop at the local pharmacy.

With all the stopping and sightseeing the roundtrip took around 7 hours and because we went the roundabout way, took in over 400 kilometers. I also included some pictures of Leo’s Baja Oasis, which is an awesome place to stay, so if you are ever in La Paz, make sure you stay there! La Paz was really starting to hit me as a great place, and it is one that I cannot wait to go back to and Leo and his partner in crime Romy have since become great friends.
