Riga, Latvia is an amazing old city with a pretty dark past. The old town is quite small but the city is big enough for a full weeks travel. Make sure you visit the ghettos and parks in and around Riga, Latvia. I took the ghetto bike tour and it was fantastic!
Tallin, Estonia is one of those Medieval Cities and absolutely gorgeous. The old town especially is wonderful and the castles forts and checkered history (always being invaded) makes for wonderful storytelling! Again a bike tour is a must!
Frankfurt, Germany is one of those cities that you cannot avoid when traveling to Europe as it is a major hub. I suggest a few days in Frankfurt as it is a beautiful city right on a gorgeous river. The old town mixed with modern architecture is a treat!

Townsville, Queensland is in the North East Coast of Australia and it is hot. Many people come to Townsville to go to Magnetic Island or one of the other Islands nearby. It is hot all year round and has an amazing mountain dwarfing the city.
Buenos Aires, Argentina was a wonderful trip for me. Got to meet up with a lifelong friend and tour the beautiful city. A lot to see here and the food is incredible (if you like meat). It is a big city to walk in, so I suggest again the bike tour!
