My third day of riding took me from Laguna Beach, Florida to New Orleans, Louisiana where I was to spend a few nights to get things together and post a few boxes of gear that was no longer necessary back to my home.
Again, the camera angle is not fixed (I got to see the footage in New Orleans and adjust camera) and still I had that huge load on my bike.
Again the first part of the trip was relatively boring and I made my way to Mobile, Alabama and into the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area and then it got a little better as I entered the Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge in Louisana.
The trip took me from Laguna Beach through Laguna Beach, Rosemary Beach, Miramar Beach, Baker, Avalon Beach, Pensacola, Mobile, Pearl River Wildlife Management Area, Eden Island, Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge and onto my destination in New Orleans, Louisiana
I was looking forward to spending a few nights in New Orleans as it is a city I really liked on previous visits. I plan to have a few days relaxing and getting my gear in order.
New Orleans has so much to offer outside of the tourist areas as it is steeped in history, both good and bad.
My KTM 1290 Super Adventure was doing really well and the trip took me only just a shade over 7 hours traveling over 330 miles (531 kilometers) and only having a few breaks along the way.
