Although the revolution is over Kiev, Ukraine still shows signs of its previous and current struggles. Revolution Square (where I stayed) is still a makeshift tent city which seems to be taken over more by the homeless and less well to do people (maybe an excuse for some food and housing) than revolutionaries. But the struggles and pain are there for all to see with pictures of the fallen adorned with flowers and candles almost everywhere! I really feel for the people of Ukraine and wish politicians stopped playing macho games with peoples lives!
