After spending five nights in Lima, Peru I had another long day riding to Nazca, Peru which is where I would spend only one night and make my way onto Abancay before my next major destination in Cusco, Peru
It would take me over 7 hours to get to Nazca, Peru taking in around 278 miles (442 kilometers) mostly on the paved roads and hugging the west side of the Andes.
The ride was mostly through deserts and barren mountain ranges. There were some sensational roads and I took some off cuts as well to make it more interesting.
The ride took me from Lima, Peru through Miraflores, Punta Hermosa, Punta Negra, San Antonio District, Pisco, Ica, and through to my final destination in Nazca, Peru.
I would stay the night at the B Hotel Suites, Nazca, Peru
B Hotel Suites, Nazca, Peru
The B Hotel Suites, Nazca, Peru is a very basic hotel, but secure and well appointed for its class. Showers were great, the room clean. Order food from my menu gets delivered in 30 minutes. The staff was fantastic! Wi-Fi was the only let down with less the 1 Mbps down and .5 Mbps upload speeds. Which is not nearly good enough for travelers.

Nazca Lines, Nazca, Peru
The Nazca Lines are a series of large ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert, in southern Peru. The largest figures are up to 1,200 ft (370 m) long. They were designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. The high, arid plateau stretches more than 80 km (50 mi) between the towns of Nazca and Palpa on the Pampas de Jumana, about 400 km south of Lima. Although some local geoglyphs resemble Paracas motifs, scholars believe the Nazca Lines were created by the Nazca culture between 500 BCE and 500 CE. The figures vary in complexity. Hundreds are simple lines and geometric shapes; more than 70 are zoomorphic designs of animals, such as birds, fish, llamas, jaguars, and monkeys, or human figures. Other designs include phytomorphic shapes, such as trees and flowers. From Wikipedia
